Position Overview: Afterschool Multimedia is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Social Media team in Windhoek. In this role, you will develop and execute cross-platform digital marketing campaigns that align with client goals, driving awareness, engagement, and revenue. Your expertise will help us achieve outstanding performance and meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute cross-platform digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, revenue, and content for redistribution across paid media and organic social channels.
- Create compelling creative briefs based on a strong understanding of content production and digital campaign optimization.
Collaborate with paid media and email teams to integrate top-performing content into their campaigns. - Manage all aspects of digital marketing campaigns, including concept development, outreach, agreement negotiation, budget management, creative development, execution, and reporting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with digital marketing partners, managing day-to-day communications.
- Lead client calls related to campaign execution, updates, and performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, digital marketing best practices, and the latest tools and platforms, translating them into strategies for clients.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in digital and/or social media marketing.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role at a DTC/e-commerce marketing agency or brand is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in marketing strategies across digital and social media marketing.
- Proven ability to execute impactful digital marketing campaigns that achieve client goals and deliver ROI, brand awareness, and reach.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to build communities that enhance customer acquisition.
- Creative thinker with a proactive and curious attitude.
